# Using the Onboarding Card

When you start the onboarding process in [Elevation Advisor](https://elevationadvisor.com/), look for a small green-and-white pop-up in the **bottom-left corner** of your screen. That pop-up is your onboarding card,  an automatic checklist to guide you through each step of your set up journey.

As you finish items on the card, they’ll automatically check themselves off, so you don’t have to worry about tracking progress manually. The whole point of the card is to keep you organized and make sure you don’t miss any onboarding steps. Don’t overthink it, just work through the list one step at a time until you’re finished.

Want to focus on only the current task? Click the **down arrow** in the top corner of the card to show just that item. If you’d rather tuck the card out of the way, click the **left-facing arrow** on the side to collapse it completely. Click the same arrows again to open it back up.

If you need to step away before you’re done, no problem! Your checklist and progress are saved.

||| Remember, once you click Complete the Onboarding Process, the card will close out and won’t be available to open again.
